The Association was reformed in September 2006 with the aim of promoting and developing Volleyball in the county. The focus of the Norfolk Volleyball Association (NVA) will be junior development in the county, thus ensuring a growing sport in the county for many years to come. There is both mixed and men’s local leagues, with matches based at the Sportspark in Norwich. Match nights are on a Friday and start at 7pm in the main hall. Follow the Local League link for fixtures, images and the latest results. - Regional League
The Eastern Region tournaments are also held in Norwich, these involve 6 tournament Sunday’s over the year which are run by Keith Nicholls at the Sportspark. The events attract teams from all over East Anglia, and are very enjoyable days. Norwich also boasts a Women’s National League team, who have recently gained promotion to National League Division 2 (See the links page to get to their website). - Tournaments
The newly added ‘Great Yarmouth Beach Classic’ on the August bank holiday weekend is a major draw for the countries best beach players, as well as offering local players a chance to complete alongside world class players. Lowestoft also hosts an excellent beach tournament at the start of July each year. An outdoor grass competition also runs each year; this will now be hosted at the Sportspark at the start of the summer holidays.
